Exchange, innovation, and hot-off-the-press catalogs: Our review of Photonics West 2026

Photonics West 2026 in San Francisco is now behind us—and we can look back on an all-around successful week at the trade fair. Our San Francisco team – consisting of Dr. Bernhard Messerschmidt, Matthias Rütz, and Dr. Torsten Poßner – thoroughly enjoyed the intensive exchange with customers, partners, and new contacts from the international photonics community. The discussions on site once again demonstrated how versatile and relevant GRIN technology is in a wide variety of applications.

A special highlight for us was the premiere of our new product catalogs: for the first time, we were able to hand out the seven hot-off-the-press catalogs directly at the trade fair. They provide a clear and concise overview of our GRIN systems and solutions and the various fields of application for GRIN technology – and were very well received by visitors. For those who were unable to attend, the catalogs are of course also available for download on our website.

We would like to express our sincere thanks to everyone who stopped by our booth – for the exciting discussions, the great interest, and the positive feedback. We are taking away many new ideas and look forward to the upcoming joint projects!
